Zoe Wall Summer loving Scarf ( Jim & Jane)

Am slightly obsessed with Zoe Wall textiles - amazing hand felted merino silk scarves which are so beautiful they almost are too good to give away or sell...I couldn't help but think when merchandising them how they looked so organic.. A beautiful gift to warm up a chilly morning or to post overseas to a missed love one....
...And the pod earrings from Alan Myerson- lovely and delicate x

A spoon full of sugar

or a hint of red? Sometimes just a touch of red brightens up a beautifully neutral canvas, a warehouse wall or a tired smile.

Tribal Heaven

Am totally addicted to my new treat - an Uzbek Suzani wall hanging circa 1910. Suzani's are traditionally hand embroidered cotton or silk Rugs made for a brides dowry. Being a fan of all things tribal this will one day hang in pride of place on a big expanse of wall in a future house - Does anyone else have grand delusions and purchase "just in case" pieces for their future? .Originally I thought I might cover a chair or mirror with it but have decided cutting into it would be a sin...or would it ?? Your thoughts? Am looking forward to summer - can't wait to wear 70's tribal inspired jewellery back with Maxi's..just need a Noilly Pratt on ice now to get in the mood..

Baby its cold outside..

This week I feel like all I have been doing is sleeping and working and freezing..am sure I am not the only person out there who is craving sunshine. I can't wait to not have to wear stockings and actually walk to work without having no feeling in my digits. ( Dramatic I know but I really do hate winter and dream of living in Bali or St Lucia all year..life here http://www.labanane.com/ would be happy I am sure).

Am figuring that the staff at Jim & Jane are no doubt feeling the same way so thought I would drop in little treats today.. Little thank-you gifts that might warm up the totally dreary day and put a smile on their face like this lad above. Meet the Tunnock Boy - very happy for someone who lives in Scotland. It got me thinking he must be happy due to all the teacakes he consumes. Tunnock's Teacakes it is then..you can find them at good deli's and they look much cooler than "Roses" chocolates...

the retro packaging is too kitsch to hide, just string and a luggage label suffices don't you think?

Thought I'd try one just to make sure they were ok..and boy are they yummy. They are a shortbread biscuit base with a mound of Italian Meringue covered in chocolate. My only problem now is stopping at one...
